Kevin, I've recently acquired an old defunct Micor UHF mobile repeater (factory, not modified) and have been wondering if the helical resonators (or any other goodies) could be re-used with other radios. Your recent post led me to write this email.
The duplexer looks especially interesting, but I haven't been able to find much info about it. What might be worth scavenging other than the duplexer? The preamp seems to be shot, but may be worth a second look. Thanks for all the great information you and others are so willing to share on the list and your web site.
