The little DB-404 works very well we use it for bike-a-thons and walks and so on. We park my SUV in a good spot at the event. And leave it all day during the event. We also have a repeater we install on a high reach for events we need more range. It uses a DB-408 on that unit. 73, Russ Ham, W3CH. GMRS, WPYK-254.
