Hi Gary, As both a Kenwood Dealer and an LTR System Owner Operator I can tell you the controller connection is pretty straight-forward.
Any LTR person will tell you that it's a good idea to pick a controller brand that works and stay with it (keeps you from pullling your hair out). I don't use Zetron, IDA or Trident Controllers, mostly the CSI brand and that's just my choice and bias. I could tell you more about why I made the choice to stick with CSI, but it's not part of the original topic. Kenwood sells the Trident Brand Controller on their repeaters as turnkey systems. Upon next check in with "the mother ship" I'll see if the controller hookup information is available. LTR is moderately level sensitive format. If you want to contact me direct (ie the phone after an Email) I'll be happy to give you some ideas and proper level tips. cheers, skipp skipp025 at yahoo.com [EMAIL PROTECTED] www.radiowrench.com > "Russ" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: > This is done all the time and Any Kenwood Systems > dealer can supply you with > both info and hardware for LTR. > 73 Russ > > ----- Original Message ----- > From: "Gary LaForce" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> > To: <Repeater-Builder@yahoogroups.com> > Sent: Tuesday, June 07, 2005 11:48 AM > Subject: [Repeater-Builder] TKR-850K interfaced to an LTR controller > > > > Has Anyone interfaced an tkr-850k with a trident raider LTR controller > > before?
