Hello all from Don KA9QJG, I have a Hamtronics 220 Exciter T-301
Peaked at 2 Watts That is driving My TE-System repeater amp gives me
80 Watts, Amp is rated at 130 Watts Continues, With the 80 Going into
the Duplexer I get about 62 Watts at out at the Ant. I would like to
use My Mirage 220 C22 Amp; The 2 Watts in will give me 20 Watts out.
That will be to much drive for the Big amp. So the Question is what
would be the best way to limit the wattage De tune the Hamtronics
Exciter to 1 Watt or put a 50-Ohm attenuator in line so I would have
8-10 Watts drive. I would like to see about 100 Watts at the Ant. and
loose the 25-30 in the duplexer Wacom WP-652, It is Not required but
I do have Muffin fans on all Amps they run cool. and No spurs
Thanks Don KA9QJG
