I recently had a Syntor (but not a Syntor X) running on packet/APRS.  (It’s awaiting repairs since a lightning strike about a month ago, though.)  They convert fairly easily to 2m use…

Subject: RE: [Repeater-Builder] Micor 412.XXXX repeater and Syntor X mobile

Mark,

Thanks, the T73 I understand from my days at the 2 way shop, the T99 is what threw me.  Is there any demand for these radios and what about the two Micor 412/413.xxxx repeaters?

If I get these radios it would be "Buy one, get one free". since the second Micor has a lot of water damage.  From what I remember about Micor's they don't take kindly to water with all those plugs and sockets on the motherboard and TX and RX modules.

I feel sorry for the guy, he has had them in a rent a room at $38.00 per month!  He can't sell them for anywhere near what he has invested.

Paul
