Before Ebay came on line... people were giving away low band cavities at the flea markets. I hauled about 8 home while my friends laughed at the trailer full of large tubes.
Although they still laugh about it... I have the cavities in service. Well... maybe they were also laughing at the TRS-80 Model One Computer I had on the back seat. :-) cheers, skipp > "Mike Perryman K5JMP" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: > > I sure wish I could locate cans for that price.. > If you hear of any let me know.. > > mike > > True ... > > Before 6 meter repeaters became really popular in Oregon - last > several years - DB Products 40-50 MHz cans were going for $25 or > $50 at the local swapmeets. > > Neil > > Paul Finch wrote: > > > > Neil, > > > > In Texas it's 1 MHz.
