Has anybody built their own battery powered power supply for the Micor
Repeater? I am now at the stage I would like to remove the original
Micor repeater power supply and build a new one that is a 12 Volt
system. If anyone has built one with the 10 volt regulator etc can you
contact me direct with problems and ideas. I am trying to decide if I
should run the repeater constantly from batteries, like almost all
Alarm systems do, or have it switch over. I did get the ICS controller
installed in the cage on a spare card so that it hinges out if I need
to get to the jumpers on the back side. It simply plugs in the old
squelch card slot. This way to revert to standard repeater all that is
required is to remove the card plug in the squelch card and line card
and remove one jumper on the backplane(local audio)
