I think you could just unplug it? It plugs into the system board I believe. Near the center of the board there is a row of 6 pins it just plugs onto. It may even have a variable resistor to set the time (I cant remember for sure). I have seen some but never used one on my stuff. I imagine you could increace capacitor or resistor sizes on the timer board til you get it long enough to suit you.
