When retuning the receiver, and having my volt probe on pin 7, I get no
readings when I adjust c307 or c306. When mentioned to move the oscillator,
this I assumed is retuning of the complete receiver.

That's because the radio has a very tight front end on it. You have to
retune the helicals. Nothing special has to be done with the high side
injection - just the same retuning.
