We solved the problem by using the onboard audio gating, which I see uses pins 6 & 7 of the Micor squelch IC. Maybe we can ask Link-Comm to do a timing test on their unit and then change the 2.2 uF capacitor on pin 10 to something else and see if it changes the attack/decay of the COS action?
