Well, unless I can get 900 HT from "da boid", I guess I'll be adding in a receiver of my own "design" (AKA: Maxtrac). I want this to end up on my 900 repeater pair. Or could the Sat RX be for freq stability? I think I'd better hold off until I get some manuals - I'm meeting another ham tomorrow who says he has some of the bibles on this monster.
Mark - N9WYS _____ From: [email protected] On Behalf Of Mike Morris The "F" connector is probably for the cable from the LNA on a satellite dish antenna. Many paging stations are controlled via a GPS-locked transmitter synthesizer (i.e. right on channel, to the cycle, which makes simulcasting easier), and they get the digital data to broadcast from a data channel on a satellite transponder. Yours may or may not have the high-stability oscillator. In fact, I know where there is an abandoned 3 foot Channel Master dish and LNA... Mike WA6ILQ
