I called Moto and asked their Parts ID folks about the AP1.  It doesn't 
appear
anywhere in their data base.  The guy said it might indicate that the rptr 
was
made for a specific user with, possibly, a special and/or unique feature, 
but
it doesn't even show up in their Special Engineering info, either.

So, basically...????????????????

I'm wondering if the rptr can be programmed into the amateur 70 cm band.
