When I was hunting, the 8924 was very tempting... the only thing that turned me off on it was size and lack of portability. Awesome bench unit, probably doesn't "travel" real well. The 8920's all have the rubber bumpers and other things set up for a little more "rough" handling... Sure wouldn't want to lug a 8924 to a site! Nate WY0X
