Bob, Motorola still sells the low-loss RCA straight phono plugs, with ceramic insulators. Ask for Part Number 2882331G01. They come in a pack of 10 plugs for $7.82, plus a small surcharge. This is the same plug as found on original-equipment RG-142/U jumper cables inside Micor stations. Most other RCA plugs on the market have lossy phenolic insulators.
