Jamey, One thing I forgot to mention about our county EDACS system...it is 800 MHz. I think they make Mastr IIIs for 800, not sure about IIs.
About every county department needing radio comm is on the system. The traffic light system to force us to stop at every light is on 900 mulit-channel system, but comes off the same antennas, but not part of the EDACS. The unusual thing about the system is it is 3 site simil-cast...3 complete 8 channel systems broadcasting at the same time. Mot said it could not be done and then GE did it.
