Don, Google Earth DOES have exactly the feature you want. Simply click on the "Fly to" tab at the upper left, and enter the latitude and longitude in the window, then either hit ENTER or click on the magnifying glass button.
Be sure to enter the coordinates in degrees-minutes-secondsN, degrees-minutes-secondsW format, but without entering a dash or symbol between the numbers. You must have a comma separating the latitude from the longitude. For example: 34 35 21.84N, 120 30 15.37W If you entered the above data correctly, Google Earth should take you to a red-roofed house near Lompoc, CA. 73, Eric Lemmon WB6FLY -----Original Message----- From: [email protected] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] On Behalf Of Don KA9QJG Sent: Friday, July 27, 2007 8:39 PM To: [email protected] Subject: [Repeater-Builder] Lon and Lat Locator Hello Hope Everyone is doing well,.
