Hi Grant:
Received both of your emails, and slept on the first one. You did not
mention as type of micor, mobile or base. If it is base then you might find
on the squelch gate card a silver releay assy about the middle of the card
and just to the right. If you dont have this then it could be the time out
timer not doing its thing. Also do you have a schematic or complete manual
for both units. The green back plane is the newer version and if it is gold
in color then I dont have any infomation on it. I to have a repeater of the
older type and trying to locate information on the back plane.
If this is a mobile then the reed switchs are located on the middle
control stip in the very center between the receiver and transmitter side.
located about half way down from the front of the radio and should be in a
small black or grey unit. about 1/2 high and about 1' wide and 3/4' long.
