One more comment....let's see if I can make it without getting egg on my face...
The older receivers such as my Collins 74A4 called for a 100uv (that's microvolts) input to get S9 and my Kenwood 820 said 50uv for the same...so that should give you an idea how important it is to give a 59 signal report...hi hi.
