Forwarding to Repeater-Builder. If you know of folks (or you yourself) that have an IRLP node that's been down/offline for a time, while you're prepping it to go to another repeater site, or whatever...
And if they're not on the [EMAIL PROTECTED] mailing list... You may want to forward this note from Dave Cameron to them. There's a slow/methodical PGP key-ring cleanup process going on (we do this about every two years or so, sometimes annually) to clean up old/ dead nodes, and some node owners never provided contact information via the IRLP status.irlp.net database, or don't know how ... Whatever the reason, this isn't a negative thing -- it's just a note (see full details below) to have them contact IRLP via the cleanup address below to let the IRLP volunteers and Dave know if they plan on keeping their node number, etc. Just passing it along... Also if you're an "IRLP-head" in your local area, you can also make an attempt to contact either folks you know or don't know that are on the list. I used the status.irlp.net webpage, did the custom sort (at the top) which shows both live and dead nodes, and sorted by State/ Province... then send some friendly notes to the three Colorado nodes I found that I knew their owners, but were on the cleanup list. Just a friendly helping hand from a few "locals" and we'll have everyone who's still "out there" and active -- contacted. 73, Nate WY0X Begin forwarded message: > From: "ve7ltd" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> > Date: November 19, 2007 4:34:33 PM MST > To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] > Subject: [irlp] PGP Keyring Cleanup - Progress Report > Reply-To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] > > All, > > Just an update to the progress of the PGP key cleanup.
