I have what may see to be a dumb question ... I have in my possession what I am told is a Sinclair 224 VHF four-bay folded dipole. My MFJ 259 says the antenna is resonant at 147.1 - which is close enough for the frequency where I want to use it: 145.150. This is an older antenna - and I am wondering - if I determine that the harness is faulty - is there a way to make up a harness to run external to the mast like a DB 224 does?
