Hi Paul the only way i found to dec. and enc. pl/ctcss is from tx and rx side. u need to go on tx and make af gen 1 to 300Hz to filter the ctcss and tx from radio don't make noise all athers to 1khz or 1.5khz from the rx side just insert pl/ctcss in af gen 1 and send signal from amplitude and send 1 khz for tone finaly go shift save and save the settings
