The ICOMs are different.

Also, some people *need* that exciter for specialized applications,  
and would probably trade you quite a bit of MASTR II stuff for that  
one... if you're looking to do that.  Or pay through the nose for it.

If you don't need it, they're worth something to a lot of folks.
