I have one of those also. It was given to me by someone that knew I did work with radios. I remember seeing these back in the late 60's, or one very similar to it. It had an "extend" feature on it. Mine is in the VHF band. It would take a lot of CPR to get or keep them running I would think. Just think of all those old old caps in there.

As others have said, that radio is the USA model called the "Mocom 70". It was preceded by the Motrac (hybrid tube/transistor) and the Motran (all transistor) and followed by the Micor.
