Chuck- My Ebay account was hacked a few years back. The way you get it back is to contact support there, and they will call you at the phone number on record to verify. But you initiate it all, not them. And I don't remember a SSN ever being used with Ebay.
Are you actually not able to get into your account? Have you tried? And I mean by entering "ebay.com" to browser, not following a link in a phishing e-mail. GeorgeC W2DB
