or a vertical storage cabinet: Rubbermaid item #3749 I'm not saying these would be 100% waterproof, but I think they would work well enough. I think the last price I saw on the storage cabinet at wally-world was around $100 or so. Leaves at least a little room to breath and work around, heat may be a factor depending on the cans you use and may send them a bit out of tune from the hot/humid summer months to the cooler less humid winter ones. Maybe a hinged lid for ease of access and a padlock.
