Actually... 

To have a really good look at the design, engineering,  
construction and performance of the GLB Pre-amplifers 

Pre-amplifier circuits are common... but good performing 
fairly selective pre-amplfiers are not as common. I used a 
surplus GLB Preamplifier to help solve a problem (fix a 
222 MHz repeater receiver issue). I am more than casually 
impressed with how well the GLB units for what they are 
perform. 

GLB Preamps are expensive versus a common ARR Gasfet or 
Bipolar Preamp. So it would be nice to see what makes one 
tick (examine the circuit engineering, it's layout and 
performance). Is it worth what they charge for it..?
