Hi, Robert.

When you mount concrete anchors in concrete you are supposed to drill all the
way through the concrete in case something goofs up, you can pound the anchor
portion through the concrete and get a larger anchor.
Can you drill into the floor and install a lead anchor and screw a bolt with an
eyelet on it then strap or use a ratcheting strap to anchor it in place?
Usually they want you to screw the bottom of the cabinet to the floor.
So it depends on the site.
Some sites I have been to like the wheels on the cabinets so they can roll them
to the door and then roll them into the back of a truck when the forest fire is
close and they have to get the equipment out immediately.
Been there done that, but I am waiting for the t-shirt.

Good luck with your site.

Oh yes, they used bolt cutters to disconnect the heliax. Fast but not very
efficent when they had to be re-connected.

at radio and cell sites?

Thanks Guys for the quick responses. We are lucky to have our "fellow" who does
this for a living I guessthen (and knows the standards). Seems to be alot in
those standards. We will comply with everything including what the site
owner(DNR...soon to be GA State Patrol) requires. If someone has this
manual...could you look under - "9.6 EquipmentAnchoring" and see if the cabinet
must be physically on the ground, orif I can use a "turnbuckle", two or
four...to make it "bolted" to
thefloor.http://bacoenterprises.thomasnet.com/viewitems/turnbuckle-assemblies/stub-end-turnbuckles?&forward=1Thought
about using this by screwing one end of the stubs into thefloor...then
drilling holes into the bottom of the cabinet. Run thestubs into the bottom and
put nuts on the stubs running up into thecabinet bottom. I know it would
work...but just wasn't sure what the"code" said. Also looking to see what it
might say on the duplexers being mountedoutside the cabinet. May have to just
"bolt" another short cabinet ontop.Thanks,Robert--- In
