The one I measured a few years ago measured 4.6 dB NF.

They are noisier, but the ARR & other GaAsFETs are very broadband & usually 
require some sort of pass filter in front of them.  The UHS preamp has a 
coil that makes it considerably narrower.

I recommend the Angle Linear GaAsFET preamps (http://anglelinear.com) 
because they are unconditionally stable, meaning they will not oscillate 
regardless of input & output impedances presented to the preamp.  ARR makes 
no such claim AFAIK.
