Re: GE Mastr ii Mobile Connections We're trying to restore a GE Mastr ii Mobile Radio to original configuration, mounted on a square piece of plywood (to start off). The RF deck arrived from a local source, the control head and cable were from an Ebay auction.
The control head has three white specialized Molex type 2-row connectors on the back. The large black control cable has only two of the matching connectors. Can one of you tell us what the third white Molex plug does? I'm thinking like Motorola Radios of this era the speaker and ignition sense wires might be sourced to the third missing plug assembly. If we need the third plug to restore this station original... anyone have one they'd like to sell or trade for? Just for testing RF Decks and placing the ones we have back into service we'd like to restore two or three GE Mastr ii Mobiles using most of the original parts. Is there a decent source for used cables and the control heads? Is there any source for used cables and the control heads? Thanks in advance for your replies...
