Re: Synthesizer Whine - what the older guys (and some gals) are missing. Service call fun... an office gal complained the radio system has a high pitch whine none of the guys in the room can hear.
The radio does have an issue or two (easily fixed) but the whine ends up being a humidifier/dehydrator unit right above the radio system. Seems somehow it dried out and turned into a small steam leak with a whine... 2 quarts of water and a re-soldered antenna connector and life is good again. s.
