Seems like I've heard that before.... I think the only manuals I'm short on is the low band manuals (25-50 MHz). I would like to get a complete set of the servicing information for those radios including the tuning manuals. I've already got some manuals for the 150 MHz and 450 MHz radios and, those have quite a bit of information on the control sections of the radios.
Any help is appreciated and I am willing to pay a fair price for the stuff or make whatever arrangements necessary to obtain copies of the manuals. 73's and TNX de KC5DBH Matt ________________________________ From: skipp025 <skipp...@yahoo.com> To: Repeater-Builder@yahoogroups.com Sent: Sat, January 30, 2010 9:08:57 PM Subject: [Repeater-Builder] Re: RCA service manuals, series 700 and series 1000, 25 - 50 MHz, 150 MHz. Hello back Matt, Wow, you want a lot don't cha? I have those manuals and could make some of that information available to you if you're serious about restoring some of the RCA Units to Operation. The RCA Series 500, 700 and 1000 units make great repeater and link building blocks if you're patient with ordering crystals and working through the manual issues. There's a Series 700 mobile up on Ebay right now... I thought about it but I'm trying to get back on my 12 Step "Junk Enders Program in regards to having too much stuff. s. > Matt Harker <kc5...@...> wrote: > > Hi everybody, > > I am looking for any old RCA service manuals for the Series 700 and Series > 1000 radios whose operating range was as follows: > > 25 - 30 MHz > 30 - 36 MHz > 36 - 42 MHz > 42 - 50 MHz > 136 - 174 MHz > > Also wanted is a 136 - 174 MHz radio, dark grey case, all solid state, from > the Series 700 and/or Series 1000 line.
