I stayed away from the topic but I'd like to say:

I hope the "Rev." part of the sig is a nickname.

As a minister to the motorcycle enthusiast, holier than thou name calling,
is not the "prime directive" of said Reverends.

I've got all my teeth (save one wisdom), don't consume alcoholic beverages,
but I'm no better than those that are otherwise.

That's all I've got on that.

An AM repeater concept is nifty regardless of band.

A cb repeater other than a store/forward repeater leaves most of the cb'ers
out of it so why build it?
If exclusivity is the goal, there are plenty of places an amateur ticket can
take you.

Here in the Ozarks, 11m is all over. Those that wanted to slug it out are
still there or pirating around 75m.
Those that wanted a "cleaner" or more private environment, attended a
licensing class. Some after trying frs handhelds from walmart.

Frs and murs are not CB, otherwords, license free != "CB".
Gmrs is a licensed "band".

Yada yada yada.

My favorite "bands" to build/operate/talk about repeaters are on 10m and 6m
with a bit of 70cm in there.
1.25 is very nice but unfortunately for me, not much "play time" there.
