Strap meaning solid copper, not copper or silver tinned braid. However, one might argue that the copper tubing has an equal amount of surface area and is more robust than the thin copper strap being sold.. if you fold 3 wide copper strap into a piece of tubing you get a ¾ OD tube. So, does the inside surface count? If not then the strap is the clear winner with double the surface area.
