RE: Link radios. My first ham station was a Link base unit on 40 something MHz given to me by the sheriff when they got new equipment. I reworked all the tuning coils and moved it to 52.525 MHz and used it for years. Those tubes looked nice at night with the lights off. Sid. WA4VBC
