I don't know if it's documented, but I do the following in Replicant 6: 1. Connect the USB cable to phone and notebook. 2. After the phone confirms that it's connected (I tested only with charge mode), go to your phone, drag the status bar to the bottom twice (I assume that you don't have quick status drag configured). 3. Tap the gear icon, under “Wireless and others”, tap “More”. 4. Tap “Tethering and portable access” and under “Others”, enable “USB link”. At your computer you should either see a new autoconfigured network connection or a new network interface to configure manually.
