As a rule of thumb, after installing Replicant for the first time, according to the installation guide itself, it is a good idea to backup the EFS ([1]) of some devices so you can restore that if you suspect that the modem partition got corrupted.

The speaker hardware obviously works fine, as I can play stuff on the phone, etc. Unfortunately, during phone calls the other side can hear me but I can't hear them.
