I know little on the audio internals, but searching about this issue on the internet turns out that some Samsung models have that issue.

As a rule of thumb, after installing Replicant for the first time, according to the installation guide itself, it is a good idea to backup the EFS ([1]) of some devices so you can restore that if you suspect that the modem partition got corrupted.

Hello,

Recently, I installed Replicant 6.0 0004 RC5 on Samsung Galaxy Note II
N7100.

The speaker hardware obviously works fine, as I can play stuff on the
phone, etc. Unfortunately, during phone calls the other side can hear me
but I can't hear them. High speaker mode doesn't change anything,
neither does using a headset.

Can anyone help please? This phone is supposed to be a birthday gift
and I have only a few days to prepare it.
