Position: UNIX/SAN Admin Duration: 2-3 Months Location: Dallas TX (Locals) Rate: $45/hr Responsible for the development, modification, installation and maintenance of UNIX software systems. May involve program product installation, hardware/software configuration, and or support. Could recommend and coordinate uprades/replacements. Creates and validates backup and recovery processes from a hardware/software perspective. Understands the enterprise system management concepts and issues and may involve writing code to automate processes. Technical resource has the skill and knowledge to include basic skills relevant to new economy product experience, i.e., WinTel Environment and UNIX Architecture. Experienced UNIX administrator to coordinate storage requests, coordinate and prepare Change Order for patching & other related change activity. Interact with various clients We are looking Solaris 8, 9 and 10 with experience with SAN, connectivity and patches (just prepping the patches, not actually doing them).
