Position: Business Objects/Business Intelligence Developer Duration: 6+ Months Locataion: Columbus, OH Rate: $37/hr (Not Negotiable) Basic Function Leads development and deployment of Business Objects based Business Intelligence decision support systems. The primary role is as Business Objects Data Analyst and Crystal/Business Objects report and universe designer and BO system administrator. Designs presentation layer and manages Business Objects Universe for the data warehouse and selects operational environments. Installs and supports BI software tools. Will develop the standards for BI coding and deployment. Essential Functions · Work with business partners, architects, and BI development team to gather and create business/data requirements for new development or enhancements to Business Objects or Crystal reports · Works closely with business partners to understand and document decision support needs · Leads the definition of business views for data subject areas and manages the implementation and maintenance of reporting and analysis applications. Creates data mappings\data dictionaries\report definitions for tables and database views for all reporting forms · Designs, develops and administers numerous mid to highly complex BO universes · Manages support of front-end BI systems deployment and maintenance; Upgrade, administer and maintain the Business Objects environment on the server · Perform system testing and quality assurance testing for reports · Support end- users in UAT/Production and research and issues and/or concerns · Provide project planning input, level of effort estimates for new BO development projects, enhancements and production support activities · Manages the BI applications library, including version control for existing applications and appropriate · Performs data integrity analysis and troubleshooting between source systems and the data warehouse. Works with business community to understanding data issues/challenges · Mentors other team members in BI development technologies and techniques. · Provides application support to resolve production issues within the stated SLA · Works with Data Warehouse customers to communicate information and answers customer comments and inquiries regarding data or analysis Thanks & Regards, Sophia Jones Technical Recruiter Data Group, Inc.
