The role requires the person to have very good Facets functional and data model knowledge. . A BSA in Client typically translates the functional requirement given by the Business Analysts into a Functional Design Document understandable to the Facets Developer. . The FDD creation requires the BSA to analyze the requirement, estimate the time required to implement the requirement, identify the data mapping, and identify dependencies. . The BSA works in sync with the Developers and System testers to understand the requirement, design, unit test, identify test cases and validate the implementation. . In short the BSA acts as a bridge between the functional and technical team and is required to work from start to the end of the implementation of a requirement.
