The candidate also resolves defects encountered during various testing cycles. About the Organization: Servicing & Credit Loss Management division supports technology for the Servicer and Investor Reporting (SIR), Credit Risk Management and Credit Loss Management groups. About Credit Loss Management Systems: Credit Loss Management (CLM) Systems help Fannie Mae manage the risk of credit loss. CLM partners with the following areas within the company: . National Underwriting Center . National Servicing Organization . Credit Loss Management . Credit Enhancement Operations About the Team: SFT CLM Team is responsible for development and maintenance of the Credit Loss suite of applications used to track and account for Fannie Mae's Credit Loss business. The Credit Loss suite of applications was built using J2EE, Java Swing, Oracle and Business Objects technologies. About the Position: The Senior Developer will be responsible for Analysis, Design, Coding and Unit Testing for modules in the credit loss management area. Current projects in CLM support system enhancements, production support, and integration with 3rd party vendors. Responsibilities: . Provide support during design and development phases of software development lifecycle. . Implement complex functionality in various layers of J2EE applications including presentation, business logic, and persistence layers. . Design and document complex application functionality. . Review use cases and provide feedback to business/technical analysts and customers. . Provide accurate level-of-effort estimates for 2 to 5-person development assignments. Qualifications: . A bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent and/or 6+ years of object-oriented software development experience . 5+ years of experience in J2EE/WebLogic technologies. . 5+ years of experience using Sybase and/or Oracle relational databases. . 4+ years of experience using Java's relational database access tools such as JDBC. . 4+ years of experience with XML/XLST. . 4+ years of experience with Java Swing is highly desirable. . Experience with the Model-View-Controller (MVC) and Data Access object (DAO) design patterns is highly desirable.
