This person should have solid performance tuning skills in a production systems environment. Must be Teradata certified. Must be able to identify problems/bottlenecks, provide solutions and perform root cause analysis. Required skills: Performance tuning of problem queries (ETL, BI). Planning and executing Teradata systems migration and related activities. Developing complex SQLs for business requirements of ETL and BI. Guide developers in trouble shooting for Teradata ETL utilities like fastload, fastexport, multiload, bteq. Interacting with Teradata tech support. Teradata ETL utilities like fastload, fastexport, multiload, bteq. Developing stored procedures and macros. Performance tuning of SQLs, analyzing explain plans, stats collections. Physical modeling (Table Design, Partitioning, indexing etc). Developing complex SQLs for business requirements.
