Title: Sr. QA Tester Location: Albany, NY
Length: 6-9 Months Rate: $40/hr on C2C Qualifications Guidelines: · BA/BS degree or higher in a computer or related field discipline, or equivalent work experience. · Minimum 6 years of prior experience in software testing. · Ability to develop test plans, test scenarios, test cases and manual test scripts for complex and highly integrated enterprise systems, products and applications. · Working knowledge of principles and quality assurance methodologies. · Experience in various types of testing like smoke, functional, system integration, regression etc. · Advanced level of skill with Rational Test Suite (Rational Team Concert, Rational Quality Manager Test, Rational Functional Tester etc.) or with equivalent test management tools. · Experience in testing of web based applications. · Experience working with relational databases - Oracle, MS SQL Server, DB2, MS Access. · Ability to write and execute SQL or PL/SQL queries to validate or gather test data. · Familiarity with Data Integration/ETL/Data Warehousing concepts. Some knowledge in using Informatica. · Experience working with and analyzing data using Toad, SQL*Plus or similar tools. · Healthcare/Insurance industry experience with Facets or similar systems preferred.
