Duration: 6+ Months Responsibilities :- v Adhering to SLAs v Reporting to the Track Lead v Mentoring / Training Team Members v Assign tasks to the team members v Monitor team members and their SLAs v Configuration Management v Handling tickets / requests v Perform root cause analysis v Troubleshooting technical issues v Defining processes and ensuring that the processes are adhered to v Oversees and is responsible for successful completion of Installation, configuration and migration v Ensure maximum uptime according to the SLA v Understanding of Multi-geo support environment v Responsible for building / maintaining a test environment v Responsible for strategizing a backup plan and test plan for failure scenario v Improves and maintains customer and employee satisfaction v Suggests new technologies and design changes v Monitoring and maintaining SLA requirements by the team members v Planning Backup/Restoration Strategy for 24x7 operation support v Suggesting patches/upgrades to maintain security level v Testing / Auditing/processes as required from time to time v Identify Skill gaps and plan for training / knowledge updating v Provide day to day global operational activities for Storage and Backup/Recovery teams including administering, v Storage array architecture v SAN infrastructure v Network Attached Storage (NAS) v Enterprise Backup/Restore v Hierarchical Storage Management (HSM) Archival and Retrieval v Perform all chargeback estimation, provisioning, and documentation tasks in a timely manner v Produce regular reports for management, to assist in cost recovery, capacity planning and consolidation v Assist in Data centre consolidation efforts v Perform H/W & performance monitoring and maintenance Technical Requirements v Exposure on Symmetrix, Clariiion and Celerra v Expperience with EMC Open Replicator v Working knowledge of Enterprise-class Fiber Switch/Director Hardware from Cisco, Brocade, or McData required v Hands-on Experience with Veritas, LVM , Powerpath Multipathing v Experience with Storage Migration activities and familiar with migration tools v Good Exposure on Monitoring and Replication Strategies (ECC, SRDF, Timefinder) v Strong Storage concepts on LUN mapping/creation, F/C Switch Configs Soft Skills v Excellent communication and conversation skills (Verbal and Written) v Good documentation skills v Good working knowledge of MS OFFICE (Including MS Project and Visio) v Should have a great customer handling skills v Able to handle unforeseen situations v High level of acceptance v Can drive HCL’s value and its methodology Other Skills / Experience v Worked on Production systems v Datacenter understanding v Experience with Migration, Installation, Upgrades and Patching v Storage Management Techniques Thanks & Regards, *Raghavendra Gaddam*, Agile Enterprise Solutions Inc Phone: 630-242-6423 Ext: 221 !!
