Title: QA Tester Location: Wilmington, DE Length: 1 Year+ Rate: $40/hr on C2C Basic Qualifications: - Bachelor’s Degree or military experience - At least 3 years’ experience in Functional testing and building Regression suites - At least 2 years’ experience Database Technologies, i.e. SQL / RDBMS - At least 1 year experience in automation test using automation test tools Preferred Qualifications: - Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or Information Systems - Experience with one or more of testing tools / frameworks HP Service Test, SOAPUI, HP QTP / ALM, Loadrunner tools - 5+ years’ experience creating/executing functional and regression test suites - 5+ year experience with creating test automation suite - 3+ years’ experience writing SQL queries - Experience with configuration management systems ie SVN, Clearcase - Experience with automated build / continuous integration systems ie Maven, Hudson - Knowledge of SOAP and REST web services - Familiarity with Agile engineering practices The application of knowledge, skills, tools, and techniques to the definition, planning and tracking of project activities to meet or exceed customer and stakeholder needs and expectations. Leads one or more projects, which may involve multiple technical disciplines. May consult on and utilize latest project methodologies, including Agile. Uses Microsoft Project, and analyzes data in Excel and presents in PowerPoint. Includes functions in support of business systems management, including efficiencies analysis, change management, software version control, and enhancements management. Includes producing test plans, executing and evaluating test cases, and developing automated regression test suites. Usually focused on performance testing, and may involve automated testing products.
