Description: Full-service global investment banking and securities firm, is seeking a SQL Server DBA, Production Support hands on experience. Required Skills: 5-7 years of experience with MSSQL server. Experience in installing and configuring various versions of MS SQL Server Should have experience in upgrading MSSQL server to 2005 and 2008. Must have windows scripting skills for monitoring and reporting. Should have experience implementing MSSQL replication. Must have experience is implementing DR solution for MSSQL using log shipping or SQL mirroring. Should have experience dealing with MSSQL Dynamic management views and functions for performance analysis. Should have experience using SQL profiler and perfmon for troubleshooting performance issues. Should be able to hit the ground running & quickly identify the root cause behind the performance issues and provide solutions. Excellent communication & coordination skills is required. Strong initiative and sense of ownership.
