*Position: Technical SpecialistLocation: Torrance, CADuration: 6+ Months* *Description* This position is to assist in facilitating, enhancing, and maintaining the Honda sponsored programs and solutions designed for automotive dealers and technicians. *Responsibilities include;* - Development, distribution, and maintenance of the Honda sponsored programs and solutions designed for automotive dealers and technicians. - Monitor/review the Honda sponsored programs and solutions for quality issues, investigate and ensure resolution. - Interact with suppliers and other departments as needed. - Assist with the planning and attending inter-departmental meetings and provide administrative support (publishing meeting notes & following up on open issues) as directed. - Prepare and publish status reports on key projects and related activities as directed. - Provide technical support as well as the research, procurement, and coordination of new technology evaluations. - Participate in the development and validation of software and/or hardware for specific vehicle systems. - Keep the Field and in-house groups up-to-date on new software and/or hardware deployment to dealers though routine reports. - The preferred candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or equivalent work related experience. Any experience in automotive service field would be a definite plus.
