*TITLE: QA Test Lead P&C Insurance* *LOCATION: Hartford, CT* *DURATION: 6+ Months* *Requisition Details:* *Overview* Looking for Test Lead who is responsible for planning, leading, and overseeing the testing activities for complex multi-product implementations in *P&C Insurance domain.* The ideal candidate is a well-rounded quality assurance professional with broad experience including project management, business analysis, and/or technical proficiency within the Quality Discipline. - Must have very good client handling experience & excellent communication skills. *Job Responsibilities:* 1. Plan, lead, and oversee testing activities for complex commercial insurance programs with multiple products and interfaces around Policy Admin, Billing and DWBI/Reporting 2. Define and drive quality strategy and quality process improvements through appropriate test harnesses as well as pragmatic testing approaches 3. Deliver high quality software products and services on time, on budget and to the specification 4. Work with and mentor team members with their initiatives / projects in onshore-offshore setting 5. Advanced ability to create, analyze and report on quality metrics for distribution / discussion with clients, senior leaders and project teams 6. Oversee the development and execution of test plans and monitoring and reporting on test execution. 7. Work with cross-organizational business and development teams to understand product vision and requirements 8. Actively share and promote the exchange of ideas and best practices and provide training to others across the discipline 9. Deep expertise in testing and quality assurance processes and methodologies, including experience leading major methodology implementations or improvements 10. Experience with aspects of project management and business analysis is preferred 11. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Must be able to work effectively with a wide variety of individuals, including auditors, management, engineering, project management, and QA staff across geographies 12. Ability to work through complex problems to reach a workable solution in a short span 13. Content expertise in the planning and execution of software testing, including hands-on testing and process improvement experience.
