Project Description:
Responsibilities:
* This role is on a software product team delivering a platform of
services geared towards delivering customer authored content to numerous
clients at web scale.
* The team member will contribute to all aspects of software
development and delivery, including back end storage, services, and
aggregation, as well as frontend rendering.
*Required Experience*
Must Have Skills:
* Bachelor's Degree or 6+ years equivalent IT experience
* 4+ years of IT experience
* 4+ years of professional web development experience, including
demonstrated expertise in coding Java and / or JavaScript applications and
services
* 2+ years doing Full Stack development
* 2+ years' experience developing REST web services
* 2+ years' experience developing user interfaces with modern web
technologies (NodeJS and BackboneJS preferred)
* 2+ years' experience with Spring (Spring Batch preferred)
* 2+ years' experience with Hibernate
* 2+ years' experience with RDBMS (Oracle preferred)
* 1+ years' experience with NoSQL (Riak preferred)
* 1+ years' experience with messaging systems (RabbitMQ preferred)
Preferred
* Solid technical communication skills with business partners and
other engineer teams
* Experience using version control systems such as Git
* Experience with bug tracking software such as Jira or ClearQuest
* Proficiency with UNIX/Linux command line
* Experience in understanding different integration patterns and
their usage during testing
* Experience with modern web technologies
* Experience with Cloud Infrastructure; AWS / OpenStack
* Experience deep-diving into difficult to troubleshoot issues
Soft Skills:
* The ability to effectively prioritize, clearly communicate, and
consistently deliver results.
* Keen attention to detail and high level of commitment.
