*Rate: $**55**/-c2c * *Mode of interview: onsite* *Key Responsibilities:* *Release Manager will * - *Perform production validation of various systems/applications in support of production releases to ensure quality of software releases* - *Assist in the planning and development of a monthly release calendar; assist in managing releases from QA to production, including deployment instructions, coordination across multiple groups* - *Schedule and facilitate software release planning and lessons learned meetings* - *Responsible for tracking software versions and audits deployment packages for completeness* - *Gather, analyze and maintain data metrics (KPIs) utilized to measure deployment performance* - *Identify, track and monitor deployment issues/resolutions that may have occurred during a deployment* - *Collaborate with Change Management and Project Manager(s) on change and release management processes, systems development lifecycles, and calendar release days for different deployment(s) and project(s)* - *Work with other Release Managers, Environments Systems Manager, IT Management, Project Managers and Stakeholders (business customers) to identify release scope, content and prioritization for sign-off in support of internal and hosted (QNXT/CCA) applications* - *Assist in building and validating test environments for each scheduled release, validating version control (TFS administration)* - *Participate in go/no-go meetings for scheduled production releases, work with team to develop and publish Implementation Plan and Release notes* - *Deploy modules from DEV/QA/UAT environments ensuring stability* - *Mentor and train IT Release Management Analyst, other IT technical staff and external contracted vendors on release processes and guidelines by providing training documentation and hands-on training* *Qualifications:* - *Bachelors in Computer Science, Information Systems and Configuration Management, Computer Engineering or related field* - *6 years Quality Assurance and Testing, Change Management, Software Version Control and Problem Management* - *At least 2 years using Microsoft TFS or other software version control tools* - *Experience in all phases of QA/Testing life cycle, including risk analysis, mitigation and contingency planning* - *Strong technical documentation skills, testing, and validation* - *Experience in the creation and execution of functional test plans and manual test cases from start to finish* - *Strong background in identifying and documenting and managing defects during program application evaluation and testing* - *Experience with releasing code in an Agile development environment* - *Working knowledge and use of release, configuration management and version control tools* - *Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills* - *Detail oriented with excellent analytical and problem solving skills* - *Ability to work well under pressure and deadlines* - *Ability to perform multiple tasks with accuracy and attention to detail* - *Understanding of customer needs and clear focus on customer satisfaction* - *Strong knowledge on Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Access, Power Point, Project Visio)* - *Strong knowledge on TCL, SQL, Oracle, MHC, QNXT, Brio Designer, a plus* *Garima Gupta *|* Technical Recruiter* *| **Apetan Consulting LLC* *Tel: 201-620-9700* 133 **| **72 Van * *Mail- Reipen Avenue # 255 Jersey City, NJ 07306 * *Corp.
