*Note: Visa copy are required along with updated resume.* *Responsibilities:-* Responsible for implementing program changes. Maintain program documentation. Must learn and comply with company standards, rules and regulations (HIPAA, SOX, etc.). Responsible for program design, coding and testing. Provide after hours support as needed. Ability to translate user specifications into written code. Knowledge of data access methods to create, read, update, and delete data. Awareness of industry architecture. Familiarity with utility usage & tools. Familiarity with System Development Life Cycle (SDLC). Basic understanding of database concepts. Awareness of technical trends. *Qualifications Required:-* Programming experience with Java and DB2 (or any other relational database). *Preferred:-* Experience with Java Development Kit (JDK) 6.0 or above, Object Oriented Design, Rational Software Architect (or any other Java IDE), Object Relational Mapping (ORM) frameworks like JPA, logging frameworks like log4j, Websphere 7.0 or above, JEE 5 or above, XHTML, XML, Javascript, JSF, EJBs, SOAP and RESTful Web services, batch processing using a framework like Java Batch or Spring Batch, reporting tools like BIRT, UML diagrams, experience working with EDI 834 files, and design and code reviews. *Senior Developer positions require the following:-* Bachelors Degree or completion of a Computer Science Program from a Technical Trade School preferred. Internal progressions, without a Bachelor’s degree, must have completed the Blue University Discovery curriculum. External applicants without a Bachelor’s degree must have completed a minimum of 100 hours of education in the areas of communications, leadership, decision making, conflict resolution, critical thinking, etc. Experience with a minimum of one programming language required. Must have 5 years experience in Application Development or Infrastructure within the client or equivalent experience for external applicants. Proven programming aptitude with increasing responsibility for programming mainframe and/or client-server computer systems, preferably in a healthcare setting; or any combination of education and experience providing the types and levels of knowledge, skills, and abilities required by the job. This level is competent to work in all phases of application systems analysis and programming activities.Competent to work in some phases of business process analysis. Considers most business implications of the application technology and process changes to the current business environment. Experience using the project management techniques that support the Project Life Cycle: Initiate, Plan, Execute, Close, and Monitor/Control by leading small to medium-sized projects and assisting in large projects.
